the Youth Arts Series Wacky Music Class with Carol Walker

Ages 8-12
In this class, students will have a chance to play, experiment with and even make their own unusual musical instruments, ranging from ocarinas to bamboo shakers to water xylophones. They will learn some basic principles behind the science of sound and compose their own tunes. The final class will include a brief performance to demonstrate what they learned and play their own compositions for family and friends.
