HO’OKUPU: Discussions with Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele, Noe Noe Wong-Wilson and Kekuhi Kealiʻikanakaʻoleohaililani

The EHCC Online Lecture Series is proud to present two exciting Zoom events:

First, Hula Master and Hawaiian Scholar Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele alongside Kanaka Maoli educator, cultural practitioner and activist Noe Noe Wong-Wilson who will illuminate our current HOʻOKUPU exhibition with background and stories on Thursday, April 29 at 5pm.

Next, On Thursday May 13 at 5pm, Pualani and her daughter Kekuhi Kealiʻikanakaʻoleohaililani, kumu hula and director of Hālau o Kekuhi, will explore “Hula and Ritual” in connection with HO’OKUPU.
 

Both are free for EHCC members and non-members.
